I have had a lot of great suggestions for the future of Calendar Press, and rather then try to determine for myself what to do, I will ask you, the users. What features are you most interested in? If the feature you want is not in this poll, please comment here and let me know what you want.

repeating events would be great, as well.

Hi. GREAT plug-in… would REALLY need to be able to LIST the events instead of a calendar view, as it does not fit well with the site. Would be nice to have it still classified by month, but as a list instead of a grid!! PLEASE ASAP

Yes, this is coming too – including the ability to show the user all of the events he or she has registered for and which ones he or she has not.

Sorry I missed the poll, just found this plugin today. It has potential to be the best calendar plugin out there.
It desperately needs recurring events. I build a lot of websites for nightclubs, bars, bands, etc and almost everything they do is recurring. Location and Google Map integration is a very close second. I like the sign-up feature capabilities, I have no personal use for it, but there may be a day and it’s great that it’s available.
This is so far the best calendar plugin and I can’t wait for the update to it to allow recurring events so I can begin using it on client sites!

Another option to think about is looking at the other largely used calendar plugins and building import tools so people can easily switch over without having to reinput everything!

Thanks again and looking forward to being able to use this in the future.

    Wish list:
Event categories and ability to filter/list certain categories
Event calendar widget similar to the normal WP calendar
List view as a supplement to calendar/grid view
    Repeating events
    Field for event location

wow what a pain to force people to register to comment…

anyway – emails are going to spam in gmail just FYI

This suggestion is sort of a no-brainer…we have events calendar wordpress plugin which has a calendar widget (but doesn’t show events from your widget you know, just posts on blog), should you have a calendar widget as another choice other than the list widget? Or be able to use both?

Hi there, it would be nice if the Calendar control would break longer text, so that it does not extend over the boundaries of each day withing the grid.
i.e. Rather than: Mary had a little lamb
    have this:
    Mary
    had
    a little
    lamb

Thanks, other than that all other requests I would have had are already mentioned, so don’t want to double up.

    Pete
